The purpose of our organization is to improve our community through the development and implementation of projects that will improve the quality of life for everyone and bring revitalization to an area where sections are facing decline. This is a grass roots organization where residents, businesses and professional and private organizations are working together under the umbrella of Renaissance 1960 Improvement Corporation to develop an urban plan with achievable projects that will improve the community at large and pursue those that are achievable by a private entity.
We are: (1) engaged in a wide variety of community revitalization projects benefitting the general public; (2) providing civic service educational opportunities for area students to be involved in their community revitalization efforts and; (3) engaged in cultural educational and social programming promoting the diversity of the area; Our Goal - To make a difference and nurture an area-wide culture of taking action to preserve and improve our quality of life. |
