II.     Model Block Committee Announcement – Kim Walsh (Houston Northwest Medical Center), Model Block Committee Chair

III.   Website Presentation – Tom Davis, R1960 Board Member and web master

        Tom urged everyone to visit the web site regularly as it is updated as needed which is frequently each week. He stressed that the intent is for it to be a resource for all information about the area such as public meetings, infrastructure projects by other agencies, updates on progress made by R1960 and links into other organization's web sites.

        He said that the site avoids duplication of material on other sites and instead contains links into those sites for information about their projects, programs, etc.

        He added that a new feature, a "forum" is now availble on-line that will allow anyone to post comments, ideas and recommendations. This internet based forum will allow "discussions" about topics such that the dialog can continue between meetings. Later in the meeting he again mentioned how the forum will be used to accumulate ideas in the urban planning process. See comments below about Joe Webb's presentation.
