The Model Block Task Force's goal is to identify a section of FM 1960 between I-45 and Red Oak (potentially Ella) and upgrade it to reflect the Master Plan to be developed by our urban planner with public input. Identifing the area and related efforts are underway in parallel with the development of the Master Plan.

They will coordinate the improvements of all the other R1960 projects to demonstrate what can be achieved or at least presented for later development. Many of the identified needs will require funding. The Task Force hopes those funds will sufficient to make all the desired changes to restore and improve the great business and residential areas east of Kuykendahl.
